Facts are not truth; reality is an illusion; history is written by the victors and all I know of American history I learned from this strip.I am now qualified to teach it.
Quincy acted as his father’s aide and secretary, and was dragged all over by his father even as a youth, which gave him valuable background and experience for his own career. That doesn’t make him a founding father, though.
Bachmann reiterated her position again yesterday, even though someone had told her that JQA was 9 at the time of the creation of the republic. Talk about clinging to ignorance!
I’m guessing that the complaining letter was a real one, so what exactly were JQA’s achievements when he was 9 years old (the recent arc notwithstanding)? Did he start the tradition of having a graham cracker during quiet time?
The “57 states” thing has been explained over and over. He was talking about trying to visit the 48 continental states, missing out on one, and said “fifty-” instead of “forty-.” He owned up to it.

I just found this strip about a month ago, but so far it’s been anything but annoying. Brilliant is the word that comes to mind!

Notice how wingnut trolls have to keep harping on the “57 states” thing? Meanwhile, the moonbats have an endless supply of fresh material.
