Well, that’s 30 feet since I swam in the Dead Sea. I only did it so I could say I had done it. It wasn’t really pleasant, and it smelled kind of bad, but I could float. I don’t float well in normal water. It was laborious to wash all the chemicals off afterward.

Our tour guide gave us the option of following the itinerary and swimming in the Dead Sea or going back to Jerusalem and doing some more site-seeing. We considered the heat, the smell, and the bugs and decided unanimously to go back to Jerusalem.

Vegetarians are just people who aren’t fast enough to catch meat.

If the Dead Sea level is dropping, then it must be getting a higher and higher salt content. Eventually, you’ll be able to walk on it.

9 out of 10 humans who eat animals, are hosting parasites in their colon and bloodstream. These parasites can cause symptoms ranging from fatigue, aches and pains and skin issues, to name a few. If you are a ‘meat’ eater, you might want to think about doing parasitic cleanses regularly, to kill and flush out the parasites once in awhile. Or, you could do like most people, drink Red Bull, coffee, etc, to fight your fatigue and lack of concentration, and pop the Advil, aspirin, etc., for the aches and pains. The great thing is, it’s all you!

Pathogens, parasites, etc. are not limited to meat. Food poisioning can come from both. Seems to me there was a recall on strawberries a while back? Though generally the meat based ones are the worst, ie if you accidentally get ahold of a slice of bread with a bit of mold on it, probably no damage unless you are allergic to penecilin. However, get ahold of a slice of bologna with mold on it -——-

Also, tapeworm in a pill was once used for weight loss.

There is a proposed scheme to replenish the Dead Sea with sea water through a pipeline over a few hundred miles (from the Indian Ocean, I believe). Arabs and Israelis have both expressed interest in such a cooperative effort, which in itself is amazing.
