A smart tiger, your Dad.
Smart man your dad was, Hobbes!
I ’d do it like Hobbes in the second panel!
A safe tiger is a smart tiger.
A strategic tactic…………
Sit in the trees and enjoy the breeze… seems like good advice, Calvin.
Love the 2nd panel. Just super.
really? A tiger runs away from a rhino?
Sometimes, “discretion is the better part of valor”.The quote from Falstaff in Henry The Fourth seeks to redeem and justify a seemingly cowardly act.
Lol, I love Hobbes
I’m with Hobbes….lol
@Bailey,Your clever poetic one-liner says it well.“Accentuate the positiveEliminate the negative”BTW, thank you for the response two days ago.
Hobbes who fights and runs away lives to devour another day. I’d rather seize the day, but hey, whatever works.
No all day, Calvin – just until the end of gym class.
Hobbes has a father? Wasn’t he created in a stuffed toy factory? This is starting to blow my mind.
These early ones with the pads on Hobbes’ hands (paws) are so weird to look at now.
smart-assed tiger
Super Tiger … You are Super Tiger Heroes …shave !!!!
There is one species of rhino that does live in India.
Awwww, I feel SO sorry for Calvin…
School is a horrid place..
xxx
@Arron: nice riff on Tacitus’ quote..!
Tigers and rhinos do live together … in Calvinworld. We are dealing with a parallel universe (or two or whatever) here. Reality as we know it doesn’t exist.
Unfortunately for Calvin, Moe does exist.
I.m sure your dad would wonder how you ended up with a kid like Calvin. ;-)
Love . . . love . . . love . . . Hobbes’ “ferocious mandibles of death” in panel #2!!!!!
;-)
Hobbes I do not think we are trying to impress the girls as much as Moe.
Tiger, tiger, burning bright, thinking up stuff in the middle of the night….
Carpe Juguleum
Hobbs always has such wonderful wisdom! :-)
That is straight out of Roald Dahl’s “Matilda” :D
