This kind of bugs me. I can’t put my stamp of approval on it. ‘On the surface’, it sounds good to combine the hobbies, but I’d really rather have the bugs and stamps intact.
Once again Calvin is going for the lowest uncommon denominator.
++++
He doesn’t seem to have thought things through entirely: with stamped bugs, it’s hard to tell which one is which, or if you have a particular species already in your collection.

No, I generally don’t follow Frog Applause, because on extremely rare occasions it’s just ever so slightly leaning toward the bizarre side. I understand that Teresa’s original title for the strip was Audible Amphibious Frontal Flipper Combinatorial Acclamation, but the syndicate made her shorten it.
Yes, but I really can’t start comment -critiquing by request. That would become an endless quagmire and would put me in a no-win position, trying to be honest. People who ask for an honest opinion often don’t really want to hear it, unless it matches their own opinion or is even more positive than their own.
Disclaimer: Teresa didn’t really have that title for Frog Applause. I just made that up for Dogsniff’s amusement, and perhaps Teresa’s if the comment ever reaches her.

If Calvin is going to squash a bug, his ‘sole’ should be in it! Oh, that makes squash his hobby too.
