Keep this in mind, you don’t need jerks. You’ll see that in a few years…hopefully.

It’s not the ups and downs of life that cause problems – it’s the jerks! Suzie would agree…

If Calvin is her only option for a friend, she’s going to be a lonely kid.

When Calvin was ‘board’ a few weeks ago, it brought forth a ‘raft’ of puns. If you don’t remember, you’ll have to walk the ‘plank’!

Poor Susie. She wants to befriend a kid who isn’t interested in those beyond his own hyperactive imagination. .The answer is to look for someone else to play with. Not everyone (not even every boy) is a Calvin.

I wonder if the real boy that Calvin is based on evenutally ended up Susie? She wants to like like him but he’s so busy being Calvin he misses some of the good stuff. I’d love to see Calvin in college.

I think Susie needs to find herself a good hobby.

While I love my family dearly, rare alone time can be just as much fun for me . . . give me my dog to play with, a good book to read, a favorite movie I haven’t seen in a really long time or a cross stitch sewing project I’ve been wanting to work on forever and I’m just as happy as I can be to be left alone!

    :-)

Suzie – take that stick you have in your hand and go back to Calvin and swing it like a sword and tell “the varlet” to get his sword ready to defend himself. That will get his attention instantly….
