Poor Hobbes. He secretly hopes for smooches from Susie, but Calvin has set him back.

@Bdaysuit,There was a ’Lahr’suit concerning the voice of Snagglepuss, but at least some of the cartoons are available on Youtube.Snagglepuss was being shown during “Zoo” on Boomerang a few years ago.

…Hobbes will be really jealous when Calvin and Susie marry one day.

Notice Hobbes stops making his face when Susie comes by…he’s trying to stay on Calvin’s good side while stealing Susie’s heart as well. (Even if he’s only changed forms, he’s still not making the face.)
