Actually there are several plans out there. Obama doesn’t like any of them.

I wish those bozo’s would wake up and smell the coffee. We didn’t send them to washington to play games with our future. They are supposed to lead. When will they get it? they can’t continue to get all the perks while helping their friends and over taxing seniors, hurting children, widows, service personnel, and the middle class.

How about a balanced budget amendment requiring a sufficient revenue stream in every spending bill, plus 1% to pay down the debt. Some could be direct taxation, others user fees, especially mineral rights on BLM land.For example: vehicle licencing fees & fuel taxes (including electric), should always be high enough to cover maintenance of roads & bridges, & cleanup around fuel production sites. You can avoid the cleanup fee by cleaning your own mess.Eliminate the term “capital gains.” If you got a legitimate business expense deduction when you bought it, it’s all income when you sold it. If you didn’t take the deduction, the profit is still income.

Specifically on the ’toon, there should be a donkey on the other end. Buttheads are bi.

It’s trying hard to respond to the new Republican rally cry: “I need your help and you can’t ask me why. We’re going to hurt some people and you can never ask me about it.” “Who’s car we gonna take?” Legendary stuff.

Heard a variant of Richard’s joke as a kid, but this doublephant consumes from both ends, and also “poos” out both trunks upon anyone “beneath” them.

Chuk is also probably aware that FAIR MARKET VALUE for minerals and all other leases, including oil, from the public lands, BLM, Forest Service et al, could probably pay off the national debt in a couple years. But that "phant’ is again proposing to sell the land, for a one time “profit” of about two months worth of the “take” from leasing, selling to their poor deprived corporate friends, like BP, Shell, and Canadian mining companies, of course!!
