Like the time in Get Fuzzy when Satchel’s Halloween costume was a Dirt Devil Vacuum because that was the scariest thing he could think of.

I’m guessing maybe poo poo or hudson or gus since they’re the only three that isn’t with the other dogs.

Cats aren’t afraid of the vacuum cleaner… right? I think Boomer would have difficulty with that so maybe he’s out rounding up some dogs while the cats start the rescue.

Who said cats aren’t afraid of vacuums? Mine are hiding as soon as I take it out of the closet. They even run from the small Dustbuster. It’s almost amusing if I go into a room where they took shelter from the mnoster as they flee to a safer haven.

“Egads, it’s the ghost of Good Plots Past, here to show us the error of our current script!”Either that or it’s Boomer or a Cat. I’m thinking Boomer but then he would be running from the vacuum too.

I once trained my old standard Dachshund not to be afraid of the vacuum (ala Cesar Milan). After that I would have to ask him to lift his head so I could vacuum under it.

The cats, Boomer, Milton, Poo Poo, the list is long, but maybe Poncho and his hairball our saved from their impending flight.

Well, I still want it to be Nocturna, but she would not disguise herself, so I guess she is not holding the vacuum cleaner. It would have to be the cats, or maybe Boomer if he could overcome his fear of the vacuum. But would the cats care that much about Poncho? Maybe so, and that is why they can all live peaceably in the house in the future (aka the present).

How would dogs react to a vacuum cleaner with a laser pointer attached to it?

A friend’s cat attacked the Christmas tree, so she had her husband wire the vacuum with a remote and set it near the tree. When the cat went near the tree, she’d turn on the vacuum with the remote and the cat would take off for parts unknown (prob under the bed). Eventually, she could just park the vacuum near the tree. No more broken ornaments. Ha—maybe it’s Fish in the cloak!!!

My cat used to run from the vacuum, from room to room as I moved around. He’d never do this, but I do think it is a cat in that cloak.

The cat saved him before – I vote it is a cat.

Whatever is dressed in the robe, I don’t think it can possibly be a cat. Cats are absolutely terrified of the vacuum cleaner worse than dogs. Just the sight of a vacuum even before it’s turned on will send them into hiding. I had two poor kitties who lived with me for 20 years and were frightened to death of the vacuum, but late in life, one of them lost her fear of it. Turned out she had gone deaf, so the sound of the vacuum no longer scared her.
