Good Evening All! The GoComics colorist made the snow bank brown. Krome froze to death in a blizzard.

Wait, they actually remember Lt. Teevo? Locker didn’t do that, and he CREATED him.

Lt. Useless K. Teevo! Spends 24/7 standing over the Telex machine! Job description: giving messages to Tracy. Got his “Lieutenant” commission from the Salvation Army. According to official records, he stood over the stew pot, guarding it, for long periods of time.

A little help, please. I’m not familiar with Lt. Teevo. What is Tracy asking him to “keep on it”? Can someone fill me in here?

Isn’t Teevo the guy who stays back at the station and records all the soap operas for Liz? ;o)

No, he isn’t. But wouldn’t THAT be the ultimate match up: Dick Tracy vs. Lex Luthor! My money would be on Tracy.

    and @PokerfacedParrot and @corpcasselbury

Smallville is the name Mina is from and which Krome escaped to. It was called that in the original comic strip by Chester Gould in 1941. It is not a Superman reference…in fact, Superman’s hometown would not get a name (which coincidentally also happened to be named Smallville) for another eight years. Chester Gould had the name first, and it is solely and only a Dick Tracy reference. They would also likely be in different states anyway, as Dick Tracy (we assume) operates out of Chicago, Illinois, and Clark Kent grew up (at least as far as the DC circa 1974 to the present is concerned) somewhere in Kansas.

probably posting too late for anyone to notice, but the problem w/ Mon-Sat color is easily resolved by viewing the strip in its intended, glorious B&W.
