What’s so peculiar about the name “Dill”? What else should Rosemary and Herb Wiedekind have named their youngest son?

The twins were Phil and Lil. Dil was Tommy’s little brother (last name Pickles).

Should have named him Doe and had Evelyn making pastries…“What’s that”? “D’oh! That’s dough, Doe, you dodo”.

It’s lucky his name ISN’T “Doe”, or the dialogue would have gone:“What’s that pretty green plant down there?”“That’s dill, Doe.”
