In “Luann – The movie” Drew should play Tiffany.

I have a funny feeling that Elwood didn’t visit the school to see Tiffany. But, rather to meet with someone else, ‘maybe Luann’? Also, there seem to be only 2 letters in the Tiffany alphabet, “M-E.”

Tiffany’s reasoning is so one-track! She needs a Crystal beside her to survive in the real world.

Enough. Tiffany, YOU are NOT going to get the LEAD, Okay.

They’ll just use Famous Actor’s Voices.

The Characters will be CGI, which pretty much leaves YOU out.

    Oh wait…..,

Drew Barrymore is actually going to direct, Anne Hathaway is being considered for the lead

A few days ago there was a forum thread about great actors of the past. I meant to ask which Golden Era Hollywood actress would be best for Zeye. I can only think of Claudette Colbert, or the other Cleopatra, Elizabeth Taylor. But both would be hard to imagine as blondes.

Cate Blanchett (Queen Elizabeth I, elf queen in Lord of The Rings and evil Nazi in the last Indiana Jones) would be good.

Tiff is still under the impression she’s staring in the movie and the sidekick is Drew.

Drew Barrymore is great, but I don’t think she has the Zeye body or personality. Now, Charlize Theron on the other hand… Her performances in Italian Job, That Thing You Do, and Mighty Joe Young are proof enough that she could definitely pull this off.

Tiffany has a cellphone? Has she finally turned 18?.I remember her saying that her parents wouldn’t let her have a cellphone until then after the trouble she caused with her “Luann Video”.

Actually, Tiffany, you do need a sidekick. As in, a kick to the side of your head to hopefully knock some sense into you.

Drew Barrymore really doesn’t seem to me like the right person to cast as Zeye.

It is difficult to imagine someone in real life being as self-focused and obtuse as Tiffany, but I suppose the caricature is so effective because there are indeed some folks just like that.

Elwood was probably at his parent’s house, looking through his porn collection, when she called.

Is Zeye a cartoon within a cartoon? I guess I missed the earlier arc about her.@ Robin, you said “no one else feels this way”. ??? Most posts this week have been critical of Tiffany. She has very few supporters and they are probably trolls. So…no one speaks in your language?

I think it’s seemingly more likely that Elwood is delusional.

First of all, Elwood was not visiting the school. He’s a student, just like the rest of them. He stopped to talk to Tiff and tell her about the movie. He has her in mind for a part. He as much as told her that she is out of the running for the lead. If she is smart, she will take whatever part is offered. This may be her only opportunity to break into acting. If not she’ll always be a could’ve-been-but-never-wuz.

Elwood is in a meeting with Drew? He’s not producing the movie. I imagine he is backing it. He probabaly has copywritten Zeye. That means he would have to authorize the creation of the movie, and probably be involved in the writing of it. So I guess he would have some say in who the stars would be, but would he be meeting them or their agents? I realize this is Luann World, but I look for realism where I can find it.

There is usually one person like Tiffany in every high school…arrogant, conceited and self-absorbed. This cartoon demonstrates that another student (usually female) can actually stand up to these overbearing characters and manage to survive high school in spite of them. Unfortunately, that thing called teen angst usually wrecks high school for so many teenagers who can’t handle the Tiffany’s of the world.
