The Basking shark, the world's 2nd largest fish species, swims at eight gentle speed of only 3 miles an hour!

That shark is almost ‘basking’ even when it swims.I’m still not getting near it; I can’t swim 3 miles an hour.I can walk more than 3 miles an hour if I walk on water, but that would be a ‘mackerel’!

My easy walk speed is 3 miles per hour.
You don’t have to worry about being about being eaten by a basking shark. It has a huge mouth, but is a filter feeder, and is not aggressive.
