There was a movie called “The Last Time I Saw Paris,” but I don’t think it was about Miles Paris. That referee is the first guy I’ve seen flip a coin not with his thumb but simply by tossing it in the air.
Ahhh…The sights of Fall. Pre season bonfire, sagely advice from Coach and Moonpie in the tinderbox, tightly clutching his flask. Can someone notify the writers and artist that Oakwood Coach Tod Andrews, former MILFord assistant and Gil, used to shake hands after games before they took over the strip.
Looks like the ref tossed the coin, then snapped into a “Sieg Heil” salute. Must be some sort of weird Milford football tradition because one of the guys around the bonfire is doing it, too, in P1.
Marty is a real pro – no spotter, no one for analysis; a one- man band. I expect Wildcat to be sitting in the booth before halftime is over. Wildcat replaces Marty after game 2, and we hear “you’re looking live” from the voice of Brent Musberger for game3. Wildcat contemplates Howard Stern for game 4. Ratings are off the chart!

Miles Paris, quite obviously the best Milford quarterback ever.

“What’s the key, Coach?” That kid must have Gil for P.E. Who would ask that while a bonfire was going on?

Gil fiddles with his coaching staff while Milford burns. They say vertical stripes are slimming, but it’s not working for that ref.

Wait a minute. That looks like a new roof on the pressbox, and I could have sworn we were talking budget cuts not just four months ago.
