@pouncingtiger“So, that’s how religions are created.”No, that’s how political parties are created!
tripwire45 about 13 years ago
Actually, this is how political parties are created, but Danae is too late. The “Me” party has existed as long as politics have been around, which is to say, for as long as people have been around.

How about they stop spending our tax money foolishly?!

ME is the ideal solution. Tax the rich, anyone who has more than ME. Cut spending on anything that doesn’t apply to ME. Cut tax loopholes that don’t apply to ME (keep mortgage interest, ed, child, and medical). If a highway doesn’t get used by ME, it’s fine how it is. If a college won’t accept me, don’t give them a dime. Illnesses that don’t affect ME should be researched by private donations. The First Amendment only applies to ME. ME. ME.

Tax the wealthy. All I’ll say.
Can't Sleep about 13 years ago
Gosh, I’m really confused —I thought there already was a ‘Me Party’. I hear ‘em on TV all the time. You know, "I’m rich, so let’s stop paying people Social Security, instead of taxing rich folks like Me."They’re the ones with their fingers in their ears and the tin foil fedoras, who can see Russia from Wisconsin.

“I’m from the government and I’m here to help!”

Or tax “US corporations” hiding their profits abroad.
Dtroutma about 13 years ago
While it could be claimed Danae read this commandment from TEA leaves indeed, televangelists, “religionists”, and yes, most definitely backers and packers of “Reaganomics” considered this core philosophy, AND law.
peachyanddanny about 13 years ago
Man, they can have Clearwater and the rest of Florida. In fact could they take Tejas with them when they go?
And if the highest marginal rates were set at Raygun levels, the national debt would be wiped out in no time. Conservatives must realize in real life, Raygun raised taxes seven times in eight years, and grew the federal government bigtime.
dwandelt Premium Member about 13 years ago
Naaa. That commandment is just standard Democrat party line.
jkhandy about 13 years ago
It’s really nothing new. 80% of the biggest most profitable corporations doing business in the US pay absolutely no income tax, plus they get free money from this government to use towards marketing their products to other countries. Awesome! The American people really are suckers, ignorant suckers, settling for the table crumbs that drop from the feast of the elite. Pathetic!
