The owner informed the guy that this dolphin required a strict diet of nothing but seagulls, which would allow it to live forever. This sounded great to the man, and he bought the dolphin and took it home. At first, there was no problem catching gulls on the Texas beaches to feed his pet. Eventually, however, Texas gulls became very scarce, and he had to start going to Louisiana to get enough to feed his beloved pet and allow it to live forever. One day, the inevitable happened and he was arrested as he tried to return to his home. The charge?….Transporting gulls across state lines for immortal porpoises.
