Power corrupts …absolutely.

This cannot turn out well. I foresee horrible consequences for the Van Pelt family.

That look on Linus is a look of a serial killer.

Why didn’t Lucy run? She’s the power-hungry one.

Like all power brokers Lucy will be the power behind the throne. Then if something goes wrong, she just finds another stooge.
