    Sadly, this isn’t generally true. The higher your social status, the longer you live. For example, see longevity.about.com/od/researchandmedicine/a/hierarchy.htm.

    longevity.about.com says I should live to be 95 but my financial adviser says I can only live to be 87.

    the higher the social status and therefore the higher income , I would say, makes the best medical care accessible . but sometimes the quality of life is not so good, albeit extended

    Just remember, high income and quality of life does not necessarily mean its fast or slow. I know some poor slow folks who will probably live to be a 100 because they have no stress and nothing to worry about. Same goes the other way I know very well off people that are high stress, low sleep and have constant medical problems because they can’t take it easy.
