Paintball separates the men from the boys.

OH Darn! Larry didn’t play fair! He shot back! I’m still going to be laughing about this in the morning.

I like the way the fantasy outfits in panel one reflect the boys’ different ages. Tobey’s is very mecha and video game, while Eddie’s is superhero (I’m especially liking the E on the cowl). Didn’t do ’em any good in the real world against Dad, though.

AAAaand a big ol’ Saaa-lute to Paintball Park, which has been in business long enough now that I went as a young man, and now my kids enjoy. Of course, eighteen years ago it was far less civilized than when my oldest son had his birthday party there last week. I think most of the people running it day-to-day now were still in diapers the first time I was there.

In my opinion, anyone that has not or will not be forced to serve in the army for a period of time should be required to spend some time paintballing. You gain a deep appreciation for what war would actually be like. If you can get “killed” by a paint ball slowly wobbling through the air, how much more so a real bullet that can go through those fences and walls you’re hiding behind. Gives you a real appreciation for what the soldiers protecting our country go through. A touch of reality.
