Not so great escape! And imprisoned man was captured in Chetumal, Mexico, while attempting to escape jail packed into his girlfriend's suitcase in July 2011! Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses IV was buried with onions in his eyesockets! In 1932, WG Brown built a gas station petrified wood in Lamar, Colo., USA. It still stands today as the office of a car dealership!

It looked to me like that petrified wood building has “Believe It Or Not Ripley” over its window, so googled it. Sure enough, it does – http://bestroadtripever.com/archives/835

I bought a piece of petrified wood once at The World of Science shop at a mall once. I know you’re not allowed to just pick up pieces of it on the ground. That building made of it must be a real tourist attraction.
