Better his porterhouse, than his tenderloin. And the loins are very tender indeed.

Whether in the game of seduction, or in the meat market….. or even in the butcher shop…….

the steaks are high…. and hearts have little value.

Believe me, it’s not just a lot of bull.

Uh oh, she’s feeding him a line of bull. And then she’s feeding herself. This is kind of disturbing overall.

Aw Radish, I wuz only funnin’ ya… I knew you knew the difference. ;)

I like to poke fun at my own similar slips as well…..

especially when some of us erudite types are so busy spelling everything right we overlook a content gaffe.

It was late at night, and I was feeling mischievous…

But please know, I never correct well-intentioned people on things like spelling and grammar… only those who’ll slap their own foreheads.

prrdh — no, but now I want some!

I love beef heart, including tacos de corazon, which you don’t see much around here in the taquerias.

But we do have a great local Mexican supermarket, where heart is sold very fresh, nicely trimmed and quite cheap.

It’s so lean and tender, I eat it as a steak.

This is the beginning of Earl’s downward spiral — in a few years, he’ll end up in today’s Rubes!

And besides, while I am critical of my OWN mistakes, I’ve known too many really smart people who were dyslexic, had visual problems, or just never “got” it in grade school to judge people on that basis.

The only time it annoys me is when there should be an editor or proofreader, but mistakes are allowed into paid publications because they won’t spend the money to provide oversight.

Good for her for being the initiator! She didn’t sit there and ruminate over the pros and cons, she just took the bull by the horns! Given calf a chance, I might do the same thing…
