Okay, Teddy, you’re freaking me out. LOL!!Michael is still a robber, even if he returns the scarf. Yes, it’s the right thing to do and it doesn’t mean that he will rob again, but if he shoplifted once, than he can’t deny his actions. Sometimes people have to learn the hard way.RaspberryIce, that was a terrible answer and one reason why people don’t accept responsibility for their actions anymore. Hopefully you’re joking…
It used to be the right thing for a parent to take a child back to the store and return it while making them confess to shame them more, but I believe I recently heard of a case where both parent and child were punished for doing just that.
Oops, must have been a “copy-paste” error. And yes the kids attitudes changed dramatically, we, being of the same age, learned to be polite, if you didn’t understand somebody to say, “I beg your pardon?”. Nowadays it is slightly different “huh?” If you received something the correct answer was “thank you”, even if you did not like it. that changed to “--” (no rudeness here) The teacher was a person you respected, and not only because of his/her knowledge……
So a guy does something wrong, and we make juvenile suggestions on how he can avoid the consequences. What happened to the idea of just not doing what’s wrong in the first place?

Not yet, Michael. Not until you’re fitted with the outfit with black and white stripes and has a number on the chest.
