The wild leaf piles are one thing…it’s the unsuspecting shepherd who is in for an autumn hazing!

Rover is a sweet dog—ah yes fans—we all miss “Calvin and Hobbs” and what about “The Far Side” too.

It reminded me of when Snoopy would go into “stalk” mode ready to snatch Linus’ blanket.

Rover…I’ve got a puppy biscuit with your name on it, if you behave yourself…

So Rover, how fast does a wild leaf herd run if they see you coming?

I foresee someone getting shorted a cookie treat! Or maybe even “grounded”. Ahhhhhhh

I think Red will be jumping in the leaves too! Why else woulod he be raking the leaves?!

Grimmy likes to go into wolf mode every now and then too. But then, all dogs do!

I certainly wouldn’t do it for fun. As a kid I could think of a lot more fun things I would rather be doing.

Memories – before WWII we used to throw potatoes into leaf fires in the street to eat later. Fun!

I love those two tiny little hairs sticking up in Rover’s hair on his head, like dogs do when they raise their fur before an attack! :-D
