Smart kid. Get’s Dad to do all the work.

Calvin is soooo cute, I just wanna kidnap him and keep him with me FOREVER

Dad is being ‘taken for a ride’ again! He could ‘exercise’ his right to walk, but he doesn’t have enough ‘pull’ in this family.

Dad is in much better shape than most dads, Mom. But maybe that’s because the other kids don’t get into tiffs with with their stuffed toys.

Still the best comic ever! Wonder what flavour ice-cream Calvin had. My younger brother, then about 7-8, insisted on having licorice once. A mess!

Dad shouldn’t complain.Calvin thanked him for the ice cream, how many people do that nowadays, at any age?

Here in West Virginia, those rides involve hills. Quit complaining Dad!

I love their expressions in the second-to-last panel!

Calvin is not able to adjust with the tiger and he get tired of walking.

When a woman says, “You need the exercise” to a man, nothing happens. But can you imagine if a man were to even HINT at that comment, even subconsciously THINK it, he would sleep on the couch for the rest of his natural life…

Like most parents. Been there, done that.

“Oh, You need the exercise more anyway” Did she mean he needs TO exercise more anyway?

If the walk starts with the kid pulling a wagon, you KNOW the walk will end with the kid RIDING in the wagon! That’s why he brought it!!

How nice the whole family is out for a walk on a beautiful day.

Dad does not seem to mind that much.

WHO LIKES ICE CREAM CAUSE I DO!?

It’s nice to see Calvin say thank you to his dad and he looks really happy riding in the wagon. My question is, in panels 4 thru 8, don’t the parents hear Calvin talking? They can’t hear Hobbes so it would sound like he’s calling his dad Fuzz Brain.

Nice move mr. watterson. Hobbes is rude and looks bigger in second to last panel.

How’s everybody? It’s been awhile, glad to see alot of the same people still witty as usual!

I know I always say this, but this comic has always done such an outstanding job of depicting what kids are really like <3
