I find it funny to think what a person from about 20 years ago might think of this. Texted? And what the heck is “facebooked”? When did that become a verb??
I check my smartphone for messages of email, facebook, text, etc. at coffee break, lunch and when I get home from work. But only if I don’t have company. .Junior should have realized….. he’s home. Mom is home. No matter how fast his thumbs for text, etc., quicker to be rude and just YELL or behave like he has manners and walk to the kitchen and tell mom.
My main purpose for a cell phone is my sons. As the oldest went off to college that’s when we got cell phones. Hubby still doesn’t have one. He uses mine if he’s going to be out on the road, in case of an emergency. I still don’t think he knows my cell phone number, LOL!

A week without the electronic crutch will give him some ideas of what he could have done.

She’s home making dinner. He could have looked her in the face and said “dad’s bringing pizza.”

If she had a cell phone dad would have called that instead of the land line.

Grounded for at least a week. No electronic devices AT ALL. Also he has to actually talk to his parents every hour he is at home.
