There you go, Frank, giving the kids the bird again…

You can still buy bb guns. We bought our now 21 year old son one when he was about 10-12. Teach responsibility at an early age and wisdom will follow.

Huh… and here I thought Nick and his wife were children of poor Italian immigrants making their way into the middle class… it turns out he already had a pool in his backyard!

Could be an above ground pool, or a decorative pond. Impressive car, though.

Most areas will not alow BB guns to be shot. Have to live on a farm or in the woods.

My oldest boy borrowed a friend’s to shoot the rabbits eating our garden back in the 70s. I got a call at work because he was caught in the front yard as he followed it from the back. It inspired me to write a poem based on Hiawatha after getting over the embarrassment.

Of course Joe would take what he wanted out of the story. LOL!

Around here (central GA) a BB gun is considered a firearm (when it come to actually discharging them), and is subject to all pertaining laws. No discharging withing a certain distance from dwellings, roads, etc. No discharging within city limits.

In the first panel of row 2, this strip is dated 12-13. Of what year? Why is Gocomics screwing up the dates?
