Dear Dan, Picked up my very own Copy of RHatCoT over the Weekend….Well Done! I enjoyed it Immensely! BTW a recent phone Conversation with my good Friend Lord Dogmore led me to another Deliciously Evil bit of Voice Casting…..What do you think of John Cleese as “The Scorpion”? HUGPOUNCEZZZZ and Have Fun Y’all! :-)

I dunno if this has been said before, and I might be flogged for it, but I always hear the voice of Patrick Warburton when Rip talks.

And since we are on the subject, does anyone else get a “Brisco County Jr” vibe with this strip? Sort of a “just under over the top” feel but with the heros being real characters that you take seriously.

Ever see Warburton in the live-action The Tick series? He could do live-action Rip if it ever came to that.

The voice I hear for Rip is Jeff Bennett, for some reason. Though his dad sounds to me like Bruce Campbell.

Veridian and friends (HUGPOUNCESZZZ!),I definitely caught a Clark Gable vibe when Dutch Haywire came aboard, and I liked the other suggested voice artists (nowadays, Patrick Warburton always cracks me up. Yes, in a good way!). Anyway, looking forward to reading …TANGOROA!

Alas, as the gun was fired, so were River Jack’s employees….As for the voice-overs, this may be a shot in the dark, but how about Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek TNG) for Rip?Please bear in mind that I am new at this…

Yeah, I think the TV western I saw Mike Road on was Wagon Train. I love old TV westerns.
I watched Clark Gable in Mogambo and said “That’s Rip’s Dad!” When I draw Dutch I just draw Rip but with bigger ears, slicked back hair, some wrinkles and his swashbuckling mustache.
