Is “instant karma” anything like instant coffee?I love Death going 21st century with his weedwhacker (a heavy-duty double-line job at that).

The Buddhists are trying to figure that one out, too. Oh, us Westerners with our crazy ideas.

A formerly stone-cold dead revenant with blood circulating again would, I suppose, seem like “death warmed over,” and less serious recoveries might be so-called by extension. Instant karma is karma, instantly—for example, a murderer running from the scene of the crime and being hit by a car and killed on the spot. Dr. Pedant has spoken. Class dismissed.

its getting up in a morning with hair that looks like you’ve, been dragged thru 2 hedges backwards eye’s that look like wee holes in the snow, a mouth that tastes like a football players jockstrap and no cup of whatever in your hands…

‘My name is Earl’ is pretty much based on instant karma.

Spring, perhaps? When the dead things (mostly animals, but we usually see one or two human corpses as well) surface from the snowdrifts and thaw out?

Is Karma imagining coffee?

I prefer brewed karma to instant. Tastes better and goes down easier.

Love how Death waves the weedwacker over the flowers in panel 2 and they are withered away!

i’m new to this place. like this strip. so far. the weed wacker is a nice touch.

Karma with coffee is also a nice touch. somehow it fits.

I got the coffee cup first. Points off for hinting, I suppose.

I got the reference for the cup, but if you don’t look at it closely enough and/or don’t know the reference, it looks kind of like Shagg from Ask Shagg. >.<
