This sort of error (past tense for the participle) is becoming so common, even among educated people, that I suspect in another few generations it will become accepted.
@pschearer What one has to realize is that this comic is based on reality, and how many people speak “proper” English all the time? So would you like this comic to feel more realistic or do you want it always to be grammatically and linguistically correct? And although you pay for your account on here, it’s very minimal and goes to the upkeep of the site, not for the artists, so really, you’re getting a free comic, stop complaining.
Diet soft drinks are gross. Don’t want all that sugar? Drink water. Don’t try to fake it with all that artificial junk – it’s worse for you than the sugar.
