Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Wow, no acknowledgement of Thanksgiving, and now no mention of Pearl Harbor. Something is really wrong here. Is Jim still doing this strip or has someone else taken over?
See “Nancy” for another remembrance of Pearl Harbor. Our local paper ran a series of articles beginning Monday. It is strange not to see something from Gasoline Alley.
Maybe FlowerLady called it right. Jim is on sabbatical and someone else is doing the strip. I just can’t imagine Gasoline Alley missing the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor!
Remember the INSURANCE CHECK? Slim and Clovia will lose the gasoline alley garage because Slim failed to get the insurance check out in time, causing the insurance to lap, now with multiple cars stolen, they’ll run out of cash.
Some calendars do not have Pearl Harbor Day written. We must never forget those serving and lost their lives while Japan boomed that ship of Naval officers.
The NOT noticing of Pearl Harbor seems to be a trend. The current lame arc is predictable, The Skinner clan will be found innocent and the Wallet clan will be forced to eat humble pie (not Pyes) and go further to the background.
No Wallet family walk in the woods to look at the fall colors. No Wallet family walk down Memory Lane on Veterans’ Day. No Wallet family gathering on Thanksgiving. And, today, no Wallet family members helping Pluggers and Nancy remember the 70th Anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor! It just seems like something is seriously out of whack in Gasoline Alley!
I’m actually surprised Jim didn’t comment on Pearl Harbor Day. He’s a big fan of American History, especially from the 30s and 40s. He must have been into his storyline and not paying attention to the date back when he did this one.

In the other Chubby story, it was someone else who had robbbed their home even though Chubby seemed the most likely suspect.

Pluggers remembered the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day – but none of the Wallets remembered? I wonder what gives?

Mr. Parati stole his own car to deflect suspicion, then stole the 2nd car.
