Hubby was checkin’ lights this year and he didn’t know that on string was missing a bulb plug in part, just had the metal connectors. Well, next I heard was a not very Chrstmas-y word.
Amusing, but being a nit-picker, I have to point-out that a finger in the socket cannot shut-off his tree lights, let alone the block lights. Also, it would only shock his finger, not his whole body. Sorry, but my brain just automatically sees these scientific errors. Now, a talking cat doesn’t bother me. I’ve come to terms with that as a basic premise to believe while enjoying the cartoon.
@eli jeas, corded phones hooked up to the phone company don’t need household electricity to work. the cordless kind do, and (I think) the ones that come to your house over the TV/internet cable, need electricity. We have one corded phone in our house so I can call the power company when the power goes out.
