Tacky rubbish like that should not be made – it would have saved Garfield the effort of destroying it,

Sorry, I’m siding with garfield on this one. Naps are a precsious commodity around here. Anyone who disrupts me is likely to be chewed out or have something thrown at them.

Curiously, the eyes on the wreath look a lot like Jon’s after he has had some kind of “shocking” experience or other.

You can’t get a whole lot more tacky than a singing wreath. I think I would’ve destroyed it even if it wasn’t interrupting anything I was doing. Its presence is annoying enough.

what was that, billy the bass singing mounted fish? genuine white trash den decorations. almost as bad as the chrome-plated ghetto bedroom sets. any one for clown-lamps with a clock in its stomach?

Back when I was a kid, about three different relatives got me the Big Mouth Billy Bass when the originals first came out. That was about what happened to them—my grandmother hid basically everyone I got, but pretty much everyone in the household probably wanted to do what Garfield did to that wreath. I found a couple years later, and one still hangs on my wall (despite not really working anymore). Those singing decorations/toys can get on just about anyone’s nerves; even mine.

And now, those “stupid singing fish” are collectibles, and they started making them again a few years back. So, apparently SOME people liked them….

I used to have a little singing Christmas tree like that. Abandoning him was the worst mistake I’ve ever made
