Okay, the sign: “There’s nothing to see here. Keep on moving” was a caption that a girl had on her sign which showed the UC Berkley pepper spraying in detail (caught on someone’s camera)… As a response to the police chief telling the press: “the police were surrounded… they had no choice but to spray them”. Yet the video shows that they were clearly not surrounded… Hence, “don’t think”, let the press think for you… (Aheh…). I can see why they shaped it in this way… I don’t know, they thought they were blocking the walkway, or what?… Like, forever, though, they have been pulled by the government telling us what to think and shaping things in such a way to make us think one thing but it’s not… That’s why it’s a bit more wise to listen to ground sources…Just thought I’d add my two cents… I hope it’s not too late and everyone’s gone… As an offhand note, did you see that big balloon in the Thanksgiving Day parade of the cop spraying the pepper spray, I saw it, and like, “woah…”

Ah yes, cheap shots at Fox News in the comments, so witty. One mildly conservative network with the rest of the media leaning left, and “progressives” feel threatened that they don’t own the entire media. Everybody has their personal bogeyman, picked according to their own world view. If people really did “Occupy Their Minds”, perhaps we would see less media sympathy for the Occupy movement.

You mean the kind of corporate welfare that the O- administration provided for Solyndra $500 million or the kind of corporate welfare the O-administration provided to a South Korea company that manufactures the batteries for the Chevy Volt $175 million. The list goes on and on and on and on.

prrdh has it right. ANYONE who thinks corporations don’t want us to think is stupid. Corporations need thinkers and doers. GUMMIT is the one who wants us to be idiots and vote for socialists like Obama.

If you want to know what the right wing has been up to lately, listen to what they are saying about Dems. Other than that they can’t be taken seriously, because they are so hyperbolic. Evidently all Dems are far, far, left and extremely radical. On top of that they make things up. Like Obama has a radical agenda or their are death panels , or he hangs out with terrorists from Kenya. Or that he is Muslim. Which to real Americans, shouldn’t make any difference. The right wing makes it up as they go along…To them you are wrong if they say you are, even if it’s an idea they came up with themselves…

I am amazed at the depth and effectiveness of thirty years of talk radio in zombifying what used to be decent, thinking Americans who were fair-minded.

What a waste! if the talk show subversion had actually been used instead for a program of science information, or fact-oriented sociology, we Americans could have completely turned America into a real Garden of Eden.

    GIGO.

I beg your pardon? Public schooling was something Frederick the Great came up with for his Prussia as a way of assuring His Majesty of a reliable supply of obedient, trusting cannon fodder. Of course, he put it in terms of the most fashionable Enlightenment language of the day so as to enchant the likes of Horace Mann, who brought the concept to this country partly to make sure everyone was indoctrinated in his notion of ‘civic virtue’ and partly to undermine the highly successful schools established by Catholic immigrants (which he hated both as Catholics and as immigrants). It’s pretty hard to teach people how to be free within a framework of compulsion. As Emerson put it, ‘The end preexists in the means’.

Hey Prrdh: Tell me the Catholic Church doesn’t indoctronate people? What about all the children that were so brain washed by priest, probable some nuns to, that they were unable to speak out until years later? The answer is simple as stated clearly by the 7 quotes, of many, that follow: 1. Martin Luther (1483-1546) (Lutheran): “We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist.” (Aug. 18, 1520)." 2. John Calvin (1509-1564) (Presbyterian): “Some persons think us too severe and censorious when we call the Roman pontiff Antichrist…”Institutes of the Christian Religion, by John Calvin. 3. John Knox (1505-1572) (Scotch Presbyterian): “that tyranny which the pope himself has for so many ages exercised over the church…[as] the very antichrist…of whom Paul speaks.” The Zurich Letters, by John Knox, pg. 199.4. Thomas Cranmer (1489-1556) (Anglican): "Whereof it followeth Rome to be the seat of antichrist, and the pope to be very antichrist himself. T. Cranmer, Vol. 1, pp. 6-7.5. Cotton Mather (1663-1728) (Congregational Theologian): “The oracles of God foretold the rising of an Antichrist in the Christian Church: and in the Pope of Rome…[has] all the characteristics of that Antichrist…” Taken from The Fall of Babylon by Cotton Mather in Froom’s book, The Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers, Vol. 3, pg. 113.6. John Wesley (1703-1791) (Methodist): Speaking of the Papacy, “He is in an emphatical sense, the Man of Sin…the Son of Perdition…claiming the prerogatives which belong to God alone.” Antichrist and His Ten Kingdoms, by John Wesley, pg. 110. 7. Article: “…the Pope put himself in the place of Christ and declared His work insufficient and in vain…[for Lutherans] the tenet that the Pope is the Antichrist [is] an article of faith.” 1954 WELS pamphlet entitled Antichrist.

The corruption and the means layes, my brain-washed Prrdh, not with the secular public schools, but within the corruption of the Catholic Church and its’ clergy…all the way up to the antichrist, Pope Benedict XVI.

PYGAR: (1) National Socialism is the ideology and practices of Nazi Party:(The Right – Politically) during Germany’s Third Reich, which included national expansion, state control of the economy, the totalitarian principle of government, and anti-Semitism. (2) Dr. King was not a “Party” he was a Baptist Preacher who was paramount in the civil rights movement. (3) If Fox News (An Oxymoron) isn’t far right, Webster will have to redefine the meaning of “right.” (4) Whigs: A 19th-century U.S. political party that favored a loose interpretation of the Constitution and opposed the Democratic Party. The Whigs were virtually defunct by 1856 with the majority of their leaders joining the Republicans before the Civil War. (5) To describe something as “Orwellian” is to say that it brings to mind the fictional totalitarian society of Oceania where residents are indoctrinated to believe nonsense statements like “WAR IS PEACE, SLAVERY IS FREEDOM, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH”), or the Bush administration’s No Child Left Behind program (which is unfunded and therefore technically leaves children behind) and Clear Skies Initiative (which weakens anti-pollution regulations and therefore technically makes skies less clear).

Further, an Orwellian rewrite of history would come from an all-powerful right-wing government controlled by the corporations and the military-industrial complex, not the left.

Next time try goggling a subject when you don’t know something, or just ask any 1st grader to do it for you, they’ll know how.
