OMG, did Gunther just grow up?

Luann over the years drooled over Aaron Hill, just as he seems to be returning interest, he moves. Gunther, meanwhile, loving and compassionate is always there when she is hurt.Luann falls for Quill, one day he is sure to return to Australia. Again, she will be hurt, and Gunther will be there loving and compassionate.Luann, me thinks a bit too caught up on looks (and yes Aaron and Quill are nice guys, not just good looking). The guy who wants to be there for her and always will be, meanwhile, continues to be overlooked/taken for granted. Hope one day she doesn’t wake up too late and realize the great guy she could have had.

Love the tender yet friendly moment between these two. I wish I had a guy friend like Gunther when I was a teenager. I was terrified of teen boys when I was in my teens. They were such a mystery and I so know if I had a Gunther, I’d felt less terrified of the guys.

Who’s ready for Christmas??…….I’m not……haven’t bought a thing yet……..[uhoh]

That’s right, Luann. You have nothing to worry about. Even though you are reluctant about showing any romantric interest in Quill, Gunther has assured you that he is still interested. Therefore, your plan to make him wait indefinitly for some sign of affection from you is still a go – or is it a stop. Well – either way, it’s still a stupid idea.

Luann – he is in LA, a city full of girls with their flirt gun set to kill. Tiff is the least of your problems. You think Quill and his uncle will just be hanging around his place?

Little more Christmas would be nice.

Could Gunther still be attracted to LuAnn a little.

I feel sorry for Rosa. It looks in today’s episode as though Greg is getting ready to bring Gunther and Luann back together again, whatever happens with Tiffany and Quill. That would leave Rosa somehow out of the picture, and that worries me.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think that Gunther is into girls, but he just doesn’t know it. As for Quill and Tiffany, the only reason that Tiffany is still interested in Quill is because he’s not interested in her. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if something happens in LA.

Why do I get the feeling that they are about to kiss?

Gunther and Leann don’t belong together as a couple, but they’re great as friends. I’m surprised people are still pulling for it. I think today’s strip shows that he is growing up and trying to move on. That’s life.

My my. If I were only in high school now…nope. Wouldn’t go there. Believe me, I haven’t caught up YET. Here’s to all the wonderful women who have helped me grow up…thank you very much.

Might this be the prelude to a little, non-sexual hug between friends who care for each other, but realize that they’ve moved on. Rosa is the most gentle, understanding girl in the strip. She tries to encourage, rather than attack and smother her man, and she will be loyal to him.

I can see who this ultimately plays out; Luann finally wakes up and see that Gunter is the true friend and love and the one for her but by that time he will be attached to Rosa and Luan loses (for a while) again.

“Becouse…never mind that”, says Gunther.Quill and Rosa are temporary. Only Gunther remains.

I"m looking for another New Year’s kiss between Luann and Quill.

Luann will go to her 20th high school reunion and will be stunned how handsome and successful Gunther is and finally realize she so blew it.

It is sometimes hard for women to realize that guys know and can detect things about other guys that they can never do…of course, the same is true about women knowing other women. That is why I told people way back in the second or third Harry Potter movie that Ron and Hermione would end up together, not Harry and Hermione.

Gunther is right. And sadly, Tiffany has some really difficult lessons to learn, the hard way, in the future.

I see Luann getting all self absorbed and feeling like she is entitled to mess with Gunther the way she thinks Tiff is messing with Quill. And…. it’ll mess up everything with everyone of them.

Quill will not touch Tiff, be looking for Luann when he gets back, but Luann will be in her own little world, convinced that Quill and Tiff already hooked up, and Luann will be playing Gunther in front of everyone, just because she can. Gunther gets embarrassed and dysfunctional, loses Rosa (who now hates all the Gringos), Quill feels like a fool for keeping a flame for Luann, and Tiff is already over all of it and off after a football player. Everyone goes away alone. All because of the self absorbed nonsense in Luann’s head. I see it all coming. This is like Shakespeare for 6th graders.

always irritates me when someone goes “oh he’s such a great guy, he’d make some girl so lucky, I’m just not into him.” Yeah if you thought some girl would be so lucky for real, you’d like him too.

This is SoOoOOo high school! Come on, I fell for looks first too, probably, .. If I was not so shy. I let the good (but boring) Good guy get away. I wonder how he is. Still married? Oh well… Sighs…

Oblivious; Party of one. Luann, can you really be that blind? It hurts my heart that even though he has a great girl in Rosa, Gunther still pines for his first love.
