Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
It stands to reason that they would still have under ground silos and that some were still operational. Maybe the silo was controlled by the main TS settlement.
The Endtown mini-comic that I produced for Comicpalooza 2011 is now available to YOU for the offensively low price of $2.50 (price includes s&h, international add $1 for each copy ordered ). Besides sporting a snazzy full color cover, it contains an all-new 22 page story that is available nowhere else. And just because I feel like doing it, Iâll sign and personalize (if desired) each and every copy I mail out. Simply pay via PayPal using my email address, aaronneathery@gmail.com, and be sure to include your mailing address. If you canât pay with PayPal, send payment to:Aaron NeatheryPO Box 920558Houston, TX 77292And, just so you know, Iâm completely open to donations. The cat and mouse that live in my head will thank you. :-).. and original Endtown art is still for sale. Contact me for details @ aaronneathery@gmail.com
At this point, ray guns and zero guns arenât going to have that much of a useful effect. Especially not at that distance. Might as well just throw your guns at it.But, not to worry. The rocket isnât carrying a satellite after all. Actually, itâs a colony ship and itâs carrying every single Topsider off to a better world. The reason the outpost dome was full of MUTTs and the dummy was swarming with them is that the TSerâs had let the things out to roam loose before picking up and moving stakes. A shame that the TSers thought that Linda and Doug werenât genetically perfect enough to be part of the scheme.
Linda & Doug werenât acceptable?Itâs You two and Vee-Two over again. Theyâd be right Von Brauned off I reckonâŠ.Seriously this does NOT look good.
Linda is as surprised as the others. The reason is that she and Doug were briefed to guard the rocket, but were not told that the rocket was a decoy. They were were actually part of the decoy.
Surely Mallardâs gonna at least strip Flask of her leadership roleâŠAnybody else thinking Wally could be her replacement? He certainly has the right moral stuff.
That was NOT another rocket, it was the superstructure and antennas of the topsider outpost, beyond the rocket control dome. BTW I was being sarcastic about it being Mallardâs.
No problem here. Itâs not a satellite, itâs just the last of the zero bombs. That could really put a negative spin on someoneâs day! Oh well, nothing much left to hit out there but beans anyway. Theyâll probably all get medals.
Rockets initially rise slowly and accelerate rapidly thereafter. Does Petey have any time to reach, then deactivate the satellite atop the rocket, in an act of self-sacrifice?
oh good. Flask failed all over the place. Do I dare hope thatâll slap her in the face, shake her self-confidence, make her start thinking, âŠ. probably not. .Iâve never been worried that something would happen to endtown. Thatâs what this strip is about after all so unless AAron wants to end it, or move everyone to a different spot, nothingâs going to happen to endtown itself..Sorry Aaron, but thatâs just how it goes â you canât threaten your main character (in this case the town) and have anyone really take it seriously unless youâre getting ready to end the story.
It all makes sense when you think about it. The TS know mutants have some sort of surveillance. They also know that any attempt to re-establish a satellite network would have to be challenged. Hence the decoy. Patrols would intercept most attempts, but any that got through would not endanger the project. If the mutants could establish large underground facilities, it would be a piece of cake for the TS to construct a missle silo. The disturbing piece of this puzzle remains the mutts in the control center. Mutts appear to be useful devices, but you would still want some humans around for an actual launch of this importance. This would seem to imply that either 1) the control center was part of the decoy, or 2) the actual launch was not imminent and the mutts were essentially babysitting the launch controls until it was actually time to launch. Flask linked to their control systems and the real missle launched in response to the countown she was monitoring and (we think) had initiated. We assume the payload is a satellite, but it is different in appearance from the one the mutts loaded onto the decoy. Monday cannot get here fast enough!
Thereâs too little time to change Wallyâa gun Heâd fired it last at Flask, set to stun And Flaskâs own potent weapon is lost Petey tossed it aside â a win with a cost They donât have much left to throw at this bird (Though Flask will hurl a snarling word) In seconds the thing will be out of sight We think we know just whatâs on the flight The mutts within the Topsider bubble Were decoys too, and part of the trouble Flask knew this wasnât right â and said zip One more mistake sheâs made on this trip =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum
Well, you fooled me again. I thought you were presenting us with something to delete our overgrown pussycat. She did mention that she was looking forward for something with teeth. My bad. Well, DODF3, one good thing that came out of Montana, besides me, is the movie THE THING.(the original one)This point isnât as crushing for a Friday. I think.
However this is going to end, I DO trust Aaron Neathery to tell a story that will end up leaving me glad I read it. He hasnât ever let us down. Heâs a good-hearted and moral person. And a genius.

looks like endtowns not the only thing under ground

Hope they have a better reason for making a decoy than âwe didnt have a couple spare people to WATCH the first rocketâ

It was a fake after all. Right timetable, wrong rocket.
Bogy Premium Member about 13 years ago
Was the control center flask took out a fake as well? She was surprised it was full of mutts.

so are they going to the topsider outpost now?
seems like there are only 2 ways to stop it now petey flying or they go into the outpost and find a way to make it crash from there
