Petey: Hey! It's a commercial for the toy that Andre wants. He showed me an ad for it he'd cut out of a catalog. Andre: It goes really really fast and runs into things and it does a flip and lights blink and it goes NNGYOWWW... Petey: Ugk. I told him constant exposure to that kind of stimuli causes neurological damage and loosens your eyeballs. Alice: Santa give toy to Alice now!

I’d be more interested in finding out what kind of toy Petey wants that does absolutely nothing.

It’s hard sometimes to believe that Petey and Alice are really brother and sister. The contrast in panel 3 is huge, comically huge! (That was the point, wasn’t it?)

The Otterloops can kill two birds with one stone, here. They can give the toy to Alice, and when it inevitably breaks in two hours they can give it to Petey. He can put it on his shelf and, as it collects dust, he can quietly contemplate mortality, entropy, and the futility of action.
“My name is Electrogizmobile, 2011’s Toy of Toys:Look on my marketing craze, ye Mighty, and despair!”Nothing beside remains: round the decayOf that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,The lone and level sands stretch far away.
