I won’t pretend to know what that is but it doesn’t sound very appetising. Like black pudding or haggis. Yes, I have tried them but I’m rather partial to a bit of squid or octupus.
According to reliable taste tests, crushed saltines are preferable. Note that some filler — crushed crackers, oatmeal, bread crumbs, are essential for an all-beef meatloaf. Without some filler, the meatloaf will be far too dense. The best meatloaf is made with 50% beef, 25% pork and 25% veal. however some people have other opinions. They’re entitled.
If I might recommend a meatloaf with which I’ve had great success:http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/bobby-flay/vegetable-meatloaf-with-balsamic-glaze-recipe/index.htmlI’m quite a fan of Food Network’s Throwdown with Bobby Flay because I love seeing his head get handed him. And I’ve gotten quite a number of good recipes from it, this one amongst them.
Some of you might want to try Mrs. Clipart’s meatloaf recipe. I can vouch for it. http://bit.ly/tyFtzr This is what caused my site to start getting hits for “Ritz Cracker Meatloaf” which in and of itself does sound disgusting.
And none of you would believe how long it took me to come up with the phrase “Lord Palmerston’s Orthopedic Undergarments.” And even longer to format it to fit in a balloon.
Whenever I install a new program on my computer I always read every screen over before clicking “next.” I’ve lost count of how many program installations are set up to also install some unsolicited toolbar unless you actively opt out. You’ve got to watch them like a hawk.

This morning the Google Toolbar Installer ran without my giving it permission. I might not mind if it would at least tell me what it’s doing.

Everybody knows Lord Palmerston wears orthopedic undergarments, ever since the Lady Dacre incident.

Without onions, meatloaf is just a meat brick. I suppose that chopped shallots or leeks could be used instead of onions.
