Gracie: What'd you get for Christmas, Nora? Nora: I got the best gift ever! Nora: A phone call from my brother in Afghanistan! Nora: What'd you get? Gracie: Um... Gracie: I got a lot more grateful.
Priceless. This is amazing. I wish more kids were like Gracie. Presents are great, don’t get me wrong, but the assurance that her brother is ok while over there is so much more important. Happy Holidays everyone!
Caballeros,As a dad of a soldier and a teacher who has former students serving over there, gracias muchos. I also would request to occasionally see some more strips like the one you did several Veteran’s/Memorial Days ago to help us remember not only those who serve and have served, but to remind some of the more strident among us just how many with hispanic surnames defend our flag and the freedoms it represents. Once again, thank you.

Some of the best gifts cannot be put in a box and wrapped, they are the intangables, like love, peace, joy and safety.
