The state police once pulled Captain Eddie over and told him to take his hat off and empty his pockets. That poor guy has never recovered.

I knew there was a mouse in Eddie’s clockwork. Considering the crowd the mouse is head and shoulders above the rest.

Plods: A little farther south, in Massachusetts, they have "r"s, but save them up to put on words ending in “a” – like Cubar. A lot farther south and “r” disapears entirely except when followed by “ah”.

All the years I’ve worn a billed cap at meetings, with the “rationale” that fluorescent bulbs flicker and cause me muscle spasms, (they do actually) my “other” cover is blown, Wiley! But I will continue to wear my “cover”.

Paulie has a pet mouse. It was originally meant to be a snack, saved for those long boat trips, but it showed off its fishing skills and……. .

That’s no mouse; that’s Leon the Henchman’s Lab Rat on his annual Downeastern Way vacation. He’s visiting Leon’s normal cousin, Eddie.
