Jason: Explain to me again the difference between writer's block and a total lack of talent.
Roger: Pipe down. I'm sure after this first word it gets easier.
Reminds me of the movie, “Throw Mama from the Train”. The only line Billy Crystal could think of for his pending novel was, “It was dark and stormy night!”
Snoopy can write a novel, even though he is only a dog. But Roger can’t. But, as Gracie Allen once said, why spend years writing a novel when you can buy one for $2.69?
I do better at writing reviews than narrative. The only book I could see myself doing is a collection of all the movies and TV shows I panned, similar to Roger Ebert’s “I Hated, Hated, Hated This Movie” and “Your Movie Sucks.”
In panel 2 I love the apple stem on the top of the monitor. Hmmmm? I wonder what kind of computer that is. Of course, I’ve always known; but love it anyway. He should have given more apples to his English teacher back in the day.

Snoopy’s book was “it was a dark and stormy night”, he plagiarized it from Edward George Bulwer-Lytton’s “Paul Clifford” (1830)

I could have been a famous pop singer or a world class athlete … only 2 things I was missing:
1. Talent2. Ability
Other than that I was golden! ;-))

Proposed first sentence of a novel:
“Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis was what the company doctor called it, but we just called it miner’s cough.”

you have a problem with your vas deferens? Could you just bend over and cough?
