How come no dents or scratches in his outer case, or is it too soon. Is no one supervising this?I am just sitting here twiddling my thumbs as my gramma used to say. It doesn’t happen with this generation, the only time thumbs twiddle is with a Ipod in hand. Hmm?Blessed BE
Sky recyclers! We’ll soon see Petey showing up on Craig’s list. The heat from the organics rotting, and the iron rusting, is what keeps the balloon aloft.

Maybe worry’s got him down. =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum
I waited to read this because I thought that at least they are safer now than with the topsiders never the less now it isn’t that clear, am I just waiting for a friday cliffhanger? Will I once again fear for their lives over the weekend? Can’t someone just give them a cake and sing happy voltaire songs?
On the Top Webcomics list, Endtown 2.0 now has 456 votes for February and is ranked 114. If it gets to 100 ranking, it gets listed on the main list, and more people will find out about Endtown, start reading it and get hooked. It will grow in popularity, there will be a better chance of making an income from it, Aaron Neathery will be able to justify spending time on it, and our favourite story will have a better chance of continuing.VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!
I must admit, this is pretty big and heavy for an airship. It is held afloat by hot air. Failing that, it’s helium. Failing that, hydrogen. Failing that, it’s held up by science. If all else fails, it stays in the sky through the heavenly power of ludicrousness.
Was Petey picked up by an automatic system? If so, were the others too, or were they picked up by design? If Petey was picked up by design, was that the only way he could be picked up? Again, relief they’re safe, opening up many questions, like the good storytellers do…
I see the panda . . .hey! that’s not a panda, it’s Mickey Mouse in the trashheap of the future!!! We’ve seen a cruel future so far, but I never imagined this. Holly and Wally, now Mickey. Oh no, where’s Minnie? Cruel, Aaron, cruel!!!! :-)
GatoCat, be careful! You’re going to have BOTH the Trekkies and the Star Wars fans on you’re doorstep, if you keep making Star Wars references and then say you’re sorry you’re not a rabid Trekkie. Yikes!
All these theories on what’s holding up the airship and no one has mentioned Upsidaisium! And are we certain that Petey is even on the same airship the TopSiders saw? I also scanned the pile of refuse and am impressed with the amount of detail involved!I can vote again in 16 hours!
Is he definitely still in the airship? We haven’t just skipped ahead to whatever destination the airship was taking him to, have we? If whoever nabbed him just wants to scrap him, they can’t really know who he is and what he’s capable of, can they?
Oh you mean inside the Jawa transport on Tatooine early in Episode IV when the droids have just escaped from the Aldarian consular ship and are trying to get Pricess Leia’s message to Obi-wan Kenobi? Some of us are fans of Star Wars AND avid trekkies. Live long and may the prosperous force be with you (or something like that) ;-)
How stupid can I be! It’s so perfectly obvious! This thing runs on FLUBBER! Why didn’t I see it before! Now, since this strip is in b&w, that means the Captain is Fred MacMurray. This is definitely a good thing, because introducing Robin Williams into this madhouse would result in a spontaneous energy release large enough to disrupt the entire fabric of the space time continuum
You all do realize that tomorrow’s Friday. We ain’t gettin nothin but ? until Monday at the earliest! AAAARRRGGGHHH! (or as Petey would say “@ star !! lightning bolt”)
DAD, I take it that would be Fred McMurray minus the Three Sons? Although it would be nice to have them sorting out the pile of stuff. “Hey Chip, could you remove all the organic matter please.”
Okay, so why didn’t Petey break out of the net before coming to this wonderful place? He can fly, so he didn’t have to worry about falling.Sure would be nice to have a peek at Wally and Holly, even Flask maybe. . .I’m in withdrawal here!
You research them, I drag them out of my rapidly deteriorating memory. Nice thing about getting older is you have all this crap rolling around in your head, the bad thing about getting older is you have all this crap rolling around in your head. To think, in some cultures I’d be considered a wiseman, an elder, because of all this history in my head. Who’d have thunk it. :-)
Jenner, thanx for the TWC voting mention.I used to push it, until it seemed I had gotten a lot of folks on the program. It did slip quite a bit last month, however.
Petey has a mouth on him when he gets frustrated.I am still not sure whether he saw the dittos or not. He may still think our heroes are dead. Of course we have not seen them yet either.
I see a teddy bear and a little TV and what might be a toddler car, a ball, electric can opener, a clock and a doll. And a lampshade and a chair and maybe a cat? These look like cast offs. Old toys and stuff. Maybe he looks like a toy to some rich guy’s kid.
I’ve been to webcomics and to get on it seems you have to vote for 1of 3 in the box and I’ve not figured how to vote for Endtown tho I’ve seen it in the 2nd 100. Do you have to register first? I’ve got so many password it looks like a small book and finding them isn’t always easy.?
Hot air; Helium; Hydrogen; Science; Heavenly Power of Ludicrousness. You’re all wrong. The Ship is held up by vacuum-tanks made of Harbenite [see Tarzan at the Earth’s Core. You know I’m right.]Either that or Upsidaisium.
Well, somebody beat me with the Upsidaisium. I didn’t even think of Flubber. Nice that someone else knows about Cyrano’s dew-filled flasks. But the truth is obvious: this ship can only come from Laputa.Though Mount Flatten [where Upsidaisium is mined] won’t let me forget it. It’s possible that Mount Flatten might be the same floating continent where the race of Winged Men originated that first appeared in Red Raven #1 1940. Despite what Marvel Comics say, I strongly suspect them to be either identical to, or at least related to the Hawk Men of Mongo [who you might remember dwelt in a floating city].For that matter, Laputa and the Floating Continent of the Winged Men, might be one and the same.Other possibilities to consider are Cavorite; and the Nth Metal of the Golden Age Hawkman. Neither Hawkman nor Red Raven’s wings were natural but in each case were used for navigation. Raven had a suit impregnated with anti-gravitons and Hawkman wore a belt of the anti-gravity Nth Metal. Possibly these two heroes are but two different, fictional versions of somebody a bit more real.
