<< Bdaysuit said, “Question….how come the devil always has a Goatee?” >>@Bdaysuit: Perhaps the old goat thinks that it goes well with his horns, hooves, and tail?
EIther as a kid starts to critically analyze his art, he gives up or he pushes through the barrier and he begins to be able to see what things really look like.Once you start really seeing, putting it down on paper is easier.
In every human person is somewhere in an edge such a little devil, we only can get rid of it with the help of Jesus Christ!! I cry to Jesus Christ, when I feel the devil moveing!
Clearly Calvin’s genius lies in other directions. Perhaps it’s because I only have good sight in one eye, but I can’t draw with perspective at all. Stick figures for me. Oh well, I can type on this here computer not too bad….

Question….how come the devil always has a Goatee?

Don’t cut off an ear Calvin. You’re not quite there.

The devil didn’t look like that on Touched By An Angel.

Remember that most of our descriptions of the devil originate with Faust, not the Bible. The Bible describes him as almost incredibly beautiful.

Calvin, don’t quit your day job as a tiger handler – and become a cartoonist!

Calvin did get his open mouth right in several of the panels. Just as good as Watterson did.
Hobbes Premium Member over 12 years ago
Today’s was an easy strip for Bill Watterson, because he only had to draw the last panel.

It’s a good thing everyone didn’t think like Calvin; we wouldn’t have the wonderful comics that we enjoy so much.

Calvin, the perfect drives out the good. You have to give yourself permission to be lousy and get better.
