pschearer from yesterday, I remember the Fuller Brush man, and I’m not on Social Security! I also remember the Jewel Tea man. Anybody else remember that?
We had milk delivery until I was in college. Stopped because they started coming at 2 a.m. and the dog hated the truck. We hated getting up to bring in the bottles in the summer. When I was little, we had an egg man, too. He’d come once a week and could get white or brown by the dozen.
I remember Mad Magazine’s parody. Their dim-witted sidekick came in right after the feds unloaded as much lead as was used in WWI, screaming, “Wha’d you do to them!? I gotta know! I gotta know!” to which the feds replied, “Well, we done blowed they heads off!” “Well,” he replied, “that means they can still live normal, happy lives!”

Shouldn’t the be on the ground? It’s hard to believe anyone can still stand after being filled with so many holes.
