Yes, but there is land unter the antarctic ice, which still gives the penguins a place to live.

They also know how to swim, therefore, they don’t need a raft.

i think the ice cap is actually increasing in the antarctic. it is in the arctic that there is problem.

And water will freeze to replace what melted. It’s called, (drumroll please), a CYCLE OF NATURE OUT OF MAN’S CONTROL!

Even most of the knowledgeable climate change naysayers agree that the planet is warming; the disagreement is as to whether the actions of mankind are accelerating the warming. Nobody can say with 100% certainty whether or not our actions are warming the planet, but siding with the majority of scientists and betting that we are indeed the cause is the safer bet. If we take action under the assumption that we are the cause of global warming and we are wrong, then we will have needlessly shifted money and jobs from one set of technology to another. Hopefully the benefits of the new technology (reductions in other types of pollution, alternatives to MIddle East oil, etc.) will somewhat offset the costs of those actions. If, however, we assume that we are not the cause of global warming and are wrong, the consequences could be absolutely devastating – coastal cities under water and more susceptible to hurricanes, mass extinctions of flora and fauna as species find themselves unable to adjust to the changing climate, etc., etc. But hey, it’s not like this is our only planet, right?

It appears that some comic strip writers are the last to know the truth … Antarctic ice is larger now than it has been in 30 years …

Jim Guess: I suppose the ice the size of Rhode Island that broke away a year ago made the remainder bigger.

Thank goodness. More people are waking up to the global warming scare than I’d realized. From today’s WSJ http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204301404577171531838421366.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

If the ice were melting, those people would be clinging to their rooftops, not sitting on the beach (which would be 20 ft. below sea level.) Also, the earth has been COOLING for the last 10-12 years, so no, everyone does NOT agree that the earth is warming.

Remember the story: The Cold Blooded Penguin? I think that’s what these penguins are.

Look at it this way…if we clean up our act instead of crapping in our nest and the climate change supporters are wrong, we get a cleaner world and sustainable energy. If the climate change supporters are right and we still don’t clean up our act, our children ar f**ked and it’s our fault.

realist anti-Christ: Over a thousand peer-reviewed papers on global warming, zero denying. The only " scientists" denying global warming are guys with a PhD and an oil company bribe, no peer-reviewed credits. I am not a scientist (although I do use the scientific method), but I have three peer-reviewed papers published.

If you read it online, it must be true! Never mind scholarly journals – if they are wrong, then get them to publish an article showing the error. However, they generally require replicatable evidence and not something plagiarized from a google search.
