Calvin has been watching too many science fiction programs and movies.

Need the fat sucked out of their brains – true, true! But why Calvin does need one eye more?

The third eye is supposed to see into men’s souls, so Calvin actually has the right idea.

Heck why not? Works for people in the Naruto world. Going for the Sharingan, Byakugan, or the Rinnegan?

And mom is again left stunned and without words to respond to her tiny and disturbing offspring.

He wants another eye to resemble the space critters that will come here to eat us one day. He can hide as one of them.

Three eyes sounds good. If they could wire it up, I’d go for it.

Why stop at 3 Calvin?

DC had a superhero with three eyes named Tuatara. This alowed him to see into the future or past.

That was hilarious with the three teen age boys trick or treating!! The makeup artists did and “outstanding” job with the extra enhancement. The characters in that whole family just crack me up, including the dog Jim.

There is also a reptile called tuatra, which has three eyes. It is located in New Zealand.

The original eyes at the end of 6 inch stalks and a long tail with a stinger on the end…

If Calvin’s wish were possible, that would change the familiar expression to Two Eyes for an Eye!(or would that be An Eye for Two Eyes!?)

He will find other changes he would like some day but for now a third eye would be pretty neat to have in school .

That was Ross Martin that had the third eye on the Twilight Zone. Luckily he was wearing a soda jerk’s hat to hide it..

For someone who clearly “sees” Hobbes, Calvin scarcely needs another eye. Wait ’til you get to be an adult, Calvin, you may find yourself having “seen” far more than you ever wanted….that most certainly includes me…
