Spoiler alert – Greg said, unquote, “Quill is a love interest who will not remain on strip.” ANY love interest of Luann’s will never stay long. How boring. It goes to show Luann will NEVER grow up and go beyond infatuations as Brad had. If he knows better based on the wildfire success of Brad’s transition from teenage nerd to firefighter with a hot girlfriend, he should consider doing something similar for Luann because I can see most of us don’t care to read about Luann, myself included.

Yeah, Luann herself is pretty awful, to be honest.

why do people boast about their ignorance? I had students who did this all the time.

Gregg, this stuff is really strong. It cannot be stored in glass and has a very strong reaction when exposed to air. I think maybe you meant a grenade, not a squirt gun.

What makes me think that Gunth is about to have a breakthru? Maybe Leslie needs help with HIS chemistry. I always did. I wouldn’t have graduated if I hadn’t been the (perhaps) best (perhaps only loudest)trumpet player in band…and the chem teacher, bless his Scotch heart, was a clarinetist with the local symphony…

Bullies only have power over you when you give to them by acting the way they want you to. I know this from experience, so try humor, and if that doesn’t work walk away, but don’t react in a way that they want.

This is REAL boring. If, as others have said, Greg doesn’t read these comments, then he is flying blind with this strip. He just keeps repeating the same old stuff or beats things into the ground. Would be nice if his editors would read these and get back to him.

Ya, this plotline started out interesting but is rapidly getting real old & boring.

ok. let’s just get to the part where Rosa lays a lip-lock on her hero. or let him and knox duke it out first where Gunther gets in a few good shots, gets cred for standing up for himself and Rosa and then she kisses him while he sports a shiner.

Note the consistency in the attire— both Knute and Gunth have had the same clothes all week, so we must still be in the same day, Luann-time. Note how Gunth has gone from paranoid to planning. He is growing. He is strong. He will survive.PS: Got to thinking about the “dork joke” this morning. That might actually work because while we think Leslie Lizard is a dork; he would see himself as a suave girl-magnet with Knute/Gunth being the dorks. So to him, the joke would be self-effacing.

Dirk and Toni was a good arc. Everyone love to read about the big evil bully going after Brad and Toni shaking him loose. When Dirk came back last year, oh boy, we saw comments go over 300.

Yep – I was just including ANY love interest, not just Quill…I typed Quill because he is the current love interest.

Okay, I am officially tired of the whole “root-for-the-twerp-to-grow-into-a-man-and-get-the-girl” theme now.

Go ahead and have Rosa judo chop Leslie and confirm Gunther’s lack of a backbone. We all know the strip is headed in that direction.
