THANK YOU! I expressed a comment, somewhat like carandken just did, only much longer, a few days ago. I was waiting for the strip to go somewhere. But I see today’s as a step forward (sorry carandken). If the cats step out of ordinary catdom (I think here especially of 2 Cows and a Chicken), you’ve got me. Since Annie doesn’t know, it’s like a secret identity for the cats. Especially if Annie later turns out to have an ironically related secret identity (a la Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb) you’ll really have something going. Today’s strip excites me to hang in there while you crank this up. Thanks.
love this strip — the writing and cartooning blend perfectly. up there with mutts, calvin & hobbes and peanuts as far as i’m concerned. humor and silliness and heart.
Have you noticed that Jack is evolving? He started with an all black face then a large white space now a white circle on his face. I totally love this strip…it has “Catitude” down cold!

didn’t the cats “step out of ordinary catdom” when they started speaking English to Annie?

This strip is starting to grow on me! The “carrot in the stew” line from yesterday was hilarious. It’s new. Give it a little time.

I agree-I like the concept and the cats-it takes time to develop an attitude and I think this strip will grow as it goes along.

Discovered this ’tune today and backtracked to the start. I love it and am sure the storylines will soon have us all enthralled. Good going Graham.
