funny thing is, i like squash more now than i did as a child. i will still gag on most summer squash, but winter squashes have become sweet. not “squashy”.
Sliced crook-neck (summer) squash, sliced peppers, fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, a little garlic salt, red and black pepper and a dollup of olive oil – about 1 minute on high in the microwave — quick and yummy

As Papa said hating squash is OK, but you still have to eat it anyway. :)

As kid we hated squash also. So we found a substitute…scrambled eggs! Yum!
