6 countries in the world exclusively use plastic polymer bank currency: Australia, Brunei, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Romania and Vietnam. Assassin! 90-year-old Heinrich Boere began a life sentence on Dec. 15, 2011, in Germany for crimes he committed as a Nazi SS officer in 1944, in the occupied Netherlands. Who do? In the west African country Benin, voodoo is an official state religion and has its own public holiday in January.

From Blazing Saddles: “Now go do, that voodoo, that you do, so well!”
Yeah, Nazis is dumbkopfs. I dunno why their cult still attracts anyone not a Wahhabist today.

That’s simplistic, actually. European anti-Jewish sentiment long predated the Nazis, and the “Hitler was mad” hypothesis doesn’t have many takers amongst historians. Evil, manipulative, opportunistic? Yes. Addicted to drugs injected by the quack Morell? Yes. Suffering from neurological complications in the last year of his life? Most certainly. Mad? No evidence at all to suppose that was true.
Personally, I found “Downfall” laughable, except Bruno Ganz’ performance.

You actually need to read “and I Was There” by Rear Admiral Layton, the guy in charge of the navy codebreakers at Pearl Harbor. I refutes pretty much all of “At Dawn We Slept” and puts the blame on the fact that the three groups receiving the intel (navy, army, and Washington) were not allowed to share it. They disseminated the intercepts based on three Japanese ciphers, and were never able to see the whole picture. One group knew December of 41 was a date for something big, one group knew Pearl Harbor was a potential target, but did not know the carriers were close enough to attack, and one group knew the Japanese were going to declare war. But without anyone able to see all three pieces, they never suspected what was going to happen on December 7. interesting book, if a bit dry since it involves a lot of technical facts and interpretations of official documents.

You wanna read something that will REALLY make you mad? Read the Arms of Krupp by William Manchester.
One of the worst Nazi war criminals was a man named Fritz Sauckel, whose job was procuring slave abor for the Nazi factories, where throusands of them were ltierally worked to death. A Nuremburg, Sauckel was sentenced to death by hanging.
BUT
One of the biggest exploiters …and abusers, of the unwilling workers Sauckel provided was Alfred Krupp, of Krupp Arms Works….who also like to use children as slave workers in his factories.
HE got a slap on the wrist for his war crimes…something like a 15 year sentence that was later commuted, after which he was allowed to go back to running his empire.
That’s what happens when you’re a billionaire industrialist instead of a lowly assassin

If we don’t ever want it to happen again, we must NEVER stop asking ourselves that question

How about Wilson? Entered WW I only after he found out the Germans were trying to get Mexico to attack the USA (see the Zimmerman telegram).

Nazism was a crime then and still is. They’ll suffer for all the harm they did to God’s Chosen People.
