A flying saucer, perhaps?
It’s taking Dick and Tess longer to leave the concert hall than the concert lasted. And the concert hall is getting smaller every day. Flight Suit mentioned that it was the size of a 7-11… it appears to be even smaller than a 7-11 today!
It floats through the air with the greatest of ease
That odd looking symphony adrift on the breeze
The size seems to be changing from day to day
But this inconsistency is consistent, so what the hey
Father and son are locked in an embrace
Well, the father anyway, with the kids face.
The maestro, he does sorely wax wroth
In layman’s terms, he’s really pissed off
Is it that the Strad is gone, or the price that was paid
Or maybe it’s just that he really needs to get
The father, his utterance a threat
The son, his pants he does wet
What will be the errant sons fate
Will he live or become the late?
Last week I was worried that Tracy was going to leave the hall and miss out on the crime.
What was I thinking?
Looks like he just might be strolling by when the kid goes flying through the window. Though I’ve never seen a concert hall with windows, come to think of it. Windows don’t do much for the acoustics.
Don’t mind that it looks like a Flying Saucer, that disguises, “distracts” from the upward growth of the building. To get the perspective note the ROOF line back on Dec.14. and the number of extra panel windows (compare), Back then, It’s clearly shown as a high ONE story structure.
Today’s repesentation suggest a building three time as tall !
“Artistic license”, Mattie may call it - might JanCinVV agree much faster ?
But Topspin Toy or Flying Saucer, most will agree - another Tiger Cage “disaster” !
So “genius” will kill those stupid Office Max elves (by the way, I will never buy anything else from Office Max or Netflix)? What about the “your hard drive is infected” ad that takes over my computer about every ten days from this site? If genius will cure that, I may try it. If I could find a couple of these comics any where else, I would drop go comics like a rock for all the times it has attacked my registry.
MaxStarmanJones: I received a three-month “Genius” status for free for filling out their survey. You could try that and see if it helps. I don’t remember how I got to it. It may pop up with other ads, or maybe it’s on your page if the offer hasn’t been discontinued.
I still get that site trying to get into my registry. I have to exit the browser to make them stop “checking for virus.” I’m not sure it comes from here, though.
Betcha the alien-looking guys that the kid sold the violin/fiddle to will come back and do the kid in just as dad strangles his son… ala the Louise Trapeze killing.
Perhaps we’ll see the Pig on Wheels outside the concert hall when it lands!
Thanks for the info, Ray C. While the “checking for virus” thing may not come from here, I find it interesting that the only time it happens – either on my laptop or this desktop – I am always at gocomics. No exceptions.
OK, Guys… it’s almost time for our weekly Crimestoppers Textbook lesson… plus a review of the week’s strips in full color! I can’t wait. Makes life worth living!

When you’re done killing your son why don’t you kill the Office Max elves next.

That look on Macy;s face makes me think he’s thinking “piece” instead of “peace”. Oh, well…….

The Maestro appears to be conducting his affairs inside a giant food blender.
Or perhaps it is something NASA uses?

Perhaps son will fight back against dad…but then again, old age and treachery overcomes youth & skill. :-D

It could be worse. A lot worse. The kid could be an up and coming rapper. Then, we’d have justifyable homicide. Or, pesticide.

Since he’s almost 80 DT might need some “little blue pill” help for that “Peace”

It just occured to me, did the “Flying Saucer” land on, and is now resting on the edge of a (high), Large wall ?
The perspective with what seems to be tall buildings in the background suggests this.

Wasted Saturday. This plot is not moving along!! Now we have rerun Sunday and rehash Monday to look forward to.
Locher writes for Tuesday to Friday, and even then it’s a step-and-stop and step-and-trip story line.
He should be writing soap operas instead.
