Give her a break. She’s only, what, like 10 years old? At that age, few of us were perfect spellers.(Whenever possible, I prefer to ascribe grammatical or spelling errors to the character rather than to the cartoonist. A spelling error in a dialogue balloon would clearly be Tony Cochran’s fault, but we’re looking at Agnes’s OWN writing. A grammatical error can almost ALWAYS be blamed on the character.)
